Hello, my name is Mike. Some say I am one of the most artistically talented people in the world. Being a modest man, I must agree, because in reality I am the best artist in the universe. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I can draw very well. Since I am an extremely nice man, I will teach you how to draw something very awesome. I will teach you to draw... a shark!

First of all, start off with an ellipse, like the one below.

picture

So now you've got your starting point. It might not look like the begining of a shark, but trust me. When this bad boy comes all together you will be very impressed with yourself. Now we need to add the shape of the head. Do just like I do below, it's all in the wrist.

picture

Notice I already added all of the scary sharp teeth, I just couldn't wait I LOVE SHARP TEETHED THINGS! So now you can see it coming along right? Let's now stop now, we're on a roll! Add a tail now!

picture

Nice! It already looks like a shark almost. I bet you can see it coming together now, With the head and the tail right there. Attached to the body. Here is where we need to start adding some details. Like fins.

picture

In a world of mediocrity we could stop now, but we're here to draw a KILLER shark. So let's slap on some even deeper details! Like... gills and eyes!

picture

Oh, Mr. Shark you look so mean with those shark eyebrows all frowning like that. You look like you could eat me! AHHH. I'm scared, but I will continue on even as my bones quiver with fright. Now remove the lines from your initial circle to make the shark one shape.

picture

Oh yeah, that looks really good. I think I should add some environmental details. You can add whatever you want, I think I'm going to make some happy little bubbles.

picture

Perfect! Now that we have done the outline we can add some color. Color is a very important part of making art. It could make or break you, so be very careful. Just follow me lead and splash some color on like I do.

And there we go. That is how you draw a photo-realistic shark in eight simple steps. If you have any questions or want to send me your version of this just click below and send me an e-mail!
